In 2006 Anat Kedem and Vivian Deutsch joined forces to form the “Israeli-American Intercultural Advantage”. Their work together has included workshops and presentations in the corporate high tech setting, as well as educational and non-profit sectors. Clients have included SanDisk, Intel, Philips, Formfactor, VeriSign, Vision Systems International and Carelocations.

Vivian Deutsch
     

With over 15 years experience in cross-cultural training, coaching and facilitation, Anat Kedem holds an MA in Education and Training from Haifa University. She specialized in cross cultural communication at the Intercultural Communication Institute in Portland and at Tel Aviv Open University’s Intercultural Communication Training for Trainers. Anat trained as a facilitator at TELEM’s (Israel) Group Facilitation Program. Anat is a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland's IOSD - International Organization & Systems Development Program and of the Gestalt Center for Organization and System Development ICF accredited International Gestalt Coaching Program.

Anat has lived in Israel, the US and South Africa. As a consultant, facilitator and coach, Anat has worked with individuals, teams and executives in a variety of industries. Her work experience in Israel includes assisting corporate clients such as Intel, Motorola, Dialogic, Orbotech, Telrad and Amdocs with managing global teams and projects and employee international relocation. She designed and facilitated seminars and authored resource materials and curricula for the Israeli government, the Israel Defense Forces and non-profit organizations focusing on diversity and interfaces with mainstream Israeli society for Israeli Arabs, new immigrants and American groups.

In the US since 1998, Anat has provided relocation coaching services to Israeli expatriates and executives, alongside intercultural training, consulting and coaching to startup and established clients such as Diligent, Texas Instruments, Cisco, Mellanox, Zoran and VSI, in most cases training both the Israeli and US based teams and managers. She teaches a course, "Doing Business with Israelis", in a Fortune 500 company’s Global University.

Anat Kedem is co-author with Lucy Shahar of the Israeli section in the Cultural Detective™, an internationally developed situation-based training tool for developing intercultural competence and bridging across cultural differences. 

As mediator, trainer and coach for the DRPS (Dispute Resolution Program Services) in Santa Clara County, California, Anat delivers basic mediation courses at various universities as part of the College Consortium Program, and serves as a community mediator and coach for new mediators.

 

With over 20 years experience in organizational development, consulting, coaching, training, facilitation and communications, Vivian Deutsch holds a Masters Degree from Haifa University in Israel, in Applied Cultural Anthropology in Business, and certifications from Columbia University in the Principles and Practices of Organizational Development, and in Human Resources Management from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Israel.

Vivian has lived in the United States, Israel, Europe and Kenya. 

During 20 years in the Israeli and American divisions of a major Fortune 500 global high tech corporation, Vivian assisted Israelis, Americans and Irish relocating, adjusting and working together, customized internal corporate courses for Israeli and Asian fit, and coached American external consultants on working in Israel. As an internal organizational consultant, she supported diversity initiatives for US internal organizations and for company sites outside the US in Malaysia, Ireland, Israel, Japan and Europe. 

Vivian designed, developed, delivered, facilitated and trained instructors for a wide variety of training, and did extensive work on new hire integration, management development, team effectiveness and workplace skills. She addressed sensitive employee relations issues, and authored key culture-related documents and articles.

Since becoming an independent consultant in 2005, in addition to her work in the Israeli-US field Vivian Deutsch has provided consulting services for organizational and diversity projects at the Santa Clara Valley Water District in California.
